Let there be LIGHT 💡

There is no darkness that the light can’t overcome.

I want you to take a look at the scripture in Matthew 5:14 where it says ““You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

I love how quotes that we are the light to this world and meant to shine upon others.

But how will we until we know the light that’s inside of us?

Well when Jesus said so He wasn’t talking to the crowd that followed Him. He was actually addressing His disciples! “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.””

John 8:12 🌿

But to know Him you gotta be His disciple, His close one. And you gotta wait for Him to reveal His light upon you so that you may shine your light among others!

And know that there is no power that can hold you up long enough whether its some addiction, drugs, alcohol, or any kind of obsession that can take you away from Jesus! He will pull you out of all the darkness!

God bless 😊

Work Willingly!

All I want is you to FOCUS on the word WILLINGLY.

All the things that we do, are they being done sincerely or genuinely? Are we profoundly working towards that force? Are we absolutely dedicated towards it?

What I feel is that sometimes it’s not working but being immensely dependent on God. We are sometimes completely hingeing or hanging on God to bring us to the desired relationships, wanted jobs, needed money, and all the records of how we want to end up in the coming 10 years. Isn’t it?

But where we lack is the part where we need to perform, seek, struggle and put in our might and zeal. Surely God is with us but not when you’re lying on bed wondering what’s coming next of the plan God has for you?

Yes there is a track, a plan, a scheme an objective for your life but not until you’re being lazy!! “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,”

Colossians 3:23 🌸

Just as scripture quotes work willingly in whatever you’re doing. Put your heart and soul in it and know that the Lord is with you always! 😊

City on a Hill

As Christians, whether we like it or not, we are all like a city upon the hill. People will look at us. They will observe how we think, speak, and act. They will take notice of our character, behavior, and attitude.

“YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 5:14-16

In this life, we have two choices. We can either be part of darkness and be part of this world OR shine as lights and be different. This world is dying for a light. People are desperately seeking for a beacon of hope. We are called to be Christians not just to attend church services once a week. We are to do a work and that is to become a light to those around us.

It is too easy to just conform to this world. Just go with the flow and simply live a life with less resistance and stay within our comfort zone. But, we are Christians. We are supposed to be different. We are to be a light.

Which leads us to the question, how can we produce light? John 8:12:

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. HE WHO FOLLOWS ME shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

This verse tells us that in order for us to produce the light, we must follow the Light of the world! We need to follow Jesus Christ, His teachings, and examples. WE LITERALLY MUST BE LIKE GOD IN OUR THINKING, WORDS, AND ACTIONS.

As John, the baptizer said, “Christ must increase and I must decrease.” Therefore, the closer we go to the source of light, the brighter our light. The opposite is true. If we stay away from God or Christ, then our light gets dimmer and dimmer until we lose the light God gave us.

I was scrolling through a profile and I saw this word. And I could feel a sudden Power,

Authority, and a Love that hit me.

I know, you are wondering what the word “Godfidence” means.

It is a feeling or consciousness of God’s powers or reliance on God’s promises; also the faith or belief that God will act in a right , proper or effective way.

The secret to becoming the person God has always intended you to be, and the secret to doing all God has predestined you to do is found only in one word,

GODFIDENCE. Godfidence is the mind-set necessary to step into your destiny.

Confidence is believing in yourself. However…

GODFIDENCE is trusting The God greater than yourself.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13 🌸

Well the verse itself says it all.

Godfidence is knowing it’s just a trail that will soon pass.

Godfidence is knowing this is not for me but God has something better planned.

Godfidence is knowing the Good in ‘No’.

Godfidence is it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. 🌸

You are the temple where The Holy Spirit resides!

The Power of Music 🎶

“But I will sing about your strength; every morning I will sing aloud of your constant love. You have been a refuge for me, a shelter in my time of trouble. I will praise you, my defender. My refuge is God, the God who loves me.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭59:16-17‬ 🌿

I really love listening to the kind of music that describes His unfailing love. I wonder what its like in heaven? Where His praise never ceases.

The power of music to help and heal is a gift from God that comforts many. That is why the Psalms speak so deeply to us. There we will find lyrics that we can connect to and relate so much. It allows us to speak to God from the depth of our spirits.

Despite his circumstances, David remembered God’s power and mercy, and singing of them encouraged him to go on. Psalm 59:6-16

“But I will sing about your strength;

every morning I will sing aloud of your constant love.

You have been a refuge for me,

a shelter in my time of trouble. I will praise you, my defender.

My refuge is God, the God who loves me.”

I’ve heard a lot of worshipers giving Him glory, describing how God was with them through all the sufferings and pain and How he turned them into a joyful praise.

May our God give us a song today that reminds us of His goodness and greatness, no matter what trails we may face.

This is my story, this is my song

Praising my Saviour all the day long;

This is my story, this is my song

Praising my Saviour all the day long.

What is your story?

May He becomes the song of your comfort in times of trouble, in times of suffering, through all the pain and turn them from sorrow to joy! ♥️

What can you offer Jesus?🎄

As it is the most beautiful time of the year it reminded me of the nativity scene we were practising in our church.

There was this traditional scene showing shepherds and wise men with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh gathered around the manger to see baby Jesus.

Some were offering him flowers, wine, bread, and other items that God has given them the ability to produce.

bring the first fruits of our labor to the house of the Lord

Exodus 23:16-19

This depiction of the nativity illustrates everything.

Everything we have comes from God, so the only thing we have to give is something that God has given us.

When Paul instructed the Romans to present themselves as a living sacrifice, he was telling them to give back to God what God has given them – their own selves

This includes the gifts He gave us, even our ability to earn a living. We know that God gives people special abilities.

Some like David, were skilled in music..

1 Samuel 16:18

Some like Bazalel and Oholiab, were skilled in artistic works..

Exodus 35:30-35

Others have skills in writing, teaching, and many more.

When we give back to God what He has first given to us, we give Him the perfect gift – ourselves.

What can you offer Jesus?

Give your all to Christ who gave His all for you!

Bible – A Varied Menu🍏

Who all are foodies?

Well I am! We all love to try new  delights, from juicy to spicy!

But when it comes to cook for ourselves, after putting all our efforts we finally have our dish ready , and we enjoy a tasty culinary experience.

•But when it comes to SPIRITUAL FOOD for our Spirit ? Don’t you think it as important as the physical  food that we eat?

The Historic books, poetry, wisdom books, prophecy and many other parts of Bible strengthen us when our spirit is weak, gives us wisdom and encouragement . And just like the food nourishes our physical body, the spiritual nourishment is very important for our spiritual growth. It is the food which never becomes stale.

How I love your law! I think about it all day long.  Your commandment is with me all the time and makes me wiser than my enemies.  I understand more than all my teachers, because I meditate on your instructions.  I have greater wisdom than those who are old, because I obey your commands.  I have avoided all evil conduct, because I want to obey your word.  I have not neglected your instructions, for you yourself are my teacher.  How sweet is the taste of your instructions — sweeter even than honey!  I gain wisdom from your laws, and so I hate all bad conduct.    Psalms 119:97‭-‬104 🌿

God has given us a varied menu ➡ BIBLE so that we can be filled and satisfied.

God  has set a table before us and he is inviting us for the day’s journey. We all are invited! Be ready to get all stuffed up. 🍏
